The New York Times did an article on e-cards and this amazingly witty site. Someecards.comThe site is composed of some of the funniest cards I've ever seen and I immediately sent a few to some friends. So e-cards are no longer geeky attempts to cover the fact that you forgot someone's birthday.
I just received the New Yorker style issue in the mail and am pouring over the witty stories and interviews. One of my favorite aspects of the magazine, the cover, was so perfect for the issue. I tried to fine the cover image online but failed. It has all these little old ladies living in shoes as the nursery rhyme says but a big pink pump is in the background and obviously not to the likings of the old ladies.
The newest Go:International Designer at Target is Alice Temperley and I've already made a few purchases (and plan to make more..) The items are adorable. Black and White with hints of blues and pinks.
I just saw an interview pertaining to the new movie "Into the Wild" starting Emile Hirsch. It's based on a book and I can't wait to pick it up. The novel follows the true story of a young man who backpacked around America in an attempt to find himself. After traveling the daunting wilderness of Alaska, the boy was found emaciated and dead in an abandoned bus which he had converted into his own home. The movie opens nationwide in October and was directed by Sean Penn.
